EMPLOYMENT STATUS





Permanent, Resident position in Erbil



ABOUT THIS JOB



Responsible for providing technical, administrative and engineering support to customers across our portfolio of Artificial Lift (Pumping) Product Line services and technologies within the Iraq Geomarket. This role will be the primary Artificial Lift technical liaison for our key customers and will be responsible for developing a strong working partnership with our key customers’ technical personnel.





KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES



Be responsible for understanding and translating technical KPIs relating to ESP performance

Provide technical support for the Artificial Lift Product Line with key field product applications, well prognosis, and/or completion product performance.

Proactive Analysis

Trending of ESP parameters for different fields and customers.

Reporting, in accordance with customer requirements

Support technical reviews and studies

Be responsible for developing a thorough understanding of Application Profiles and Typical Equipment Design Strategies

Identification, monitoring and reporting of ESP Problems

Sharing Lessons Learned across organization

Evaluating New Product Opportunities

Evaluating Technical Differentiation

Assist with tool applications and new product market introductions.

Handle special projects as assigned.

Conduct all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.





ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS



• Bachelor's Degree in related subject or equivalent (e.g. Electrical Engineering)

• 5 years’ experience with ESP’s

• Confident communicator (verbal & written, in English)

• SAP Knowledge

• ESP Field Service Experience

• Analytic approach

• Team orientated & focused

• Computer literacy



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS



• Advanced Artificial Lift applications technical skills.

• Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills

• Fluent Arabic is beneficial but is not essential.

• Ability to build peer relationships as well as work independently.

• Intermediate problem solving and project management skills.

• Excellent organizing, planning, and presentation skills.

• Must be action oriented, ethical in values, and customer focused with a drive for results.

• Ability to manage time and make quality decisions.
