A reputable investment management firm based in Kuwait that focuses on asset management, real estate and principal investments is seeking candidates to fill the following position:
Associate - Asset Management
Purpose & Scope:
• Assist in the development of funds and investment products.
• Team member of the product development process to ensure timely and successful launches of funds.
Key Responsibilities/Tasks:
1. Assist in managing funds through the complete lifecycle, from concept to launch
2. Prepare feasibility and market studies to propose funds in line with business objectivities
3. Assist in the preparation of legal structure, documentation, registrations, and approvals for new fund products
4. Evaluate investment managers, administrators, distributors, auditors, custodians
5. Coordinate development of all marketing materials, forms, PR & advertising campaigns, and fund distribution channels
6. Assist in launching funds and subscription in line with targets
7. Perform a variety of tasks within the general scope of the job and others that may be assigned by the management
Requirements:
Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Master’s degree or professional certifications (CFA, CMA) are preferred
Experience:
• 2 - 4 years of experience in the financial services industry with specific knowledge in asset management
• Strong investment and product knowledge, including Sharia compliant products, structured products, mutual funds, fixed income, deposit products
• Previous experience in launching fund products is preferred
Additional Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of fund offerings, fund structures, portfolio strategies, and project management skills
Language Skills:
• Excellent command over English and Arabic language is a must.
