Country Manager - Fashion Retail

• Strategy: Implementing Operations strategy in coherence with every brand image and identity.

• Objectives: Planning, implementing, controlling and adjusting new operational strategy objectives

• Industry awareness: Up-to-date with latest industry trends and best practices.

• Leads a team of Branches managers

• Heads country’s Retail Stores team to deliver the brand story and customer experience through performance management. Establishes clear team objectives and individual goals.

• Analyzes country and retail stores financial data and develops/implements action plans to daily deliver key results.

• Accurately forecast sales yearly, seasonally, monthly, weekly and daily for the purpose of forecasting a complete by store / country P&L.

• Prepares, discusses annual and seasonal budgets and produces a detailed annual business operating plan

• Prepares and presents monthly, quarterly or annual targets for revenue, profits and cash.

• Plans to achieve financial KPIS set by the management.

• Proposes business partnerships and co-planning.

• Follows and implements all company policy and procedures to ensure stability, sustainability, safety and security of the business in accordance with country’s laws, regulations and common best practices.

• Ensures standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met;

• Demonstrates sound judgment in anticipating challenges, problem solving, and seeking the right resources to resolve issues. Reports all appropriate information to Retail Operations Manager.

• Takes pride in the appearance of the store and ensures visual displays are in accordance with company provided planograms.

• Manages stock levels and making key decisions about stock control.

• Proposes special promotions, displays and events.

• Maintains awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what local competitors are doing.

• Initiates changes to improve the business, . Revising opening hours, shifts, staff density, stock density, to ensure the store can compete effectively in the local market.

• Liaises with local authorities, media, malls, and the community in general.

• Develop and introduce mechanisms for identifying and securing business growth opportunities.

• Manage the day to day operations
