ABOUT THIS JOB



At Baker Hughes, the Field Specialist is responsible for running and supporting the following tools and services for the Wellbore Construction Product Line



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES



Under general supervision develops and applies skills required to run tools for Wellbore Construction services.

Provides front-line support with customer and accurately completes all paperwork prior to or upon completion of jobs assigned.

Support operations and running of tools and services at the wellsite.

Conducts all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.





ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS



Basic knowledge or understanding of drilling and completion techniques and rig operations.

Good mechanical aptitude.

Ability to work and communicate well with others.

Willingness and 'can do' attitude to tasks and responsibilities.



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS



Technical Degree or equivalent in related subject

Experience in any of the Wellbore Construction service lines and tools would be desirable.

Solid offshore rig operations knowledge and understanding.
