Finance Manager

• Sets up the financial strategy and general policies and procedures relating to finance, accounts and discusses them with the Managing Director, and ensures their proper implementation.

• Acts as the Company’s highest financial authority representative and manages the high-level financial relationship with banks, suppliers/contractors, and clients.

• Sets up the monthly financial and accounting work plan and ensures its proper implementation.

• Presents the overall Company budget to the Managing Director for discussion and approval, then presents and shares it with the Chairman.

• Revises current financial, accounting, and budgeting systems and manages the implementation of the adjusted financial, accounting and budgeting systems, when needed.

• Prepares Monthly Treasury Report and presents it to the General Manager for review and approval.

• Prepares and implements the Company’s cash flows plan, maintains adequate liquidity taking into consideration any provisions and then reports any variances.

• Supervises the A/R and A/P related activities

• Evaluates the finance needs of the Company and suggests sources of funding.

• Studies, analyzes and recommends better ways to invest the Company’s funds.

• Regularly meets with the President and Board of Directors to discuss the overall company’s project, contributing with recommendations on the financial aspects, in regards to the company’s position.

• Ensures that the Financial Systems are operating effectively and efficiently and responds to the needs of various users in the Company.

• Performs analysis on budget components to identify deviation from plan and reviews the results with the appropriate personnel

• Evaluates the performance of his/her direct subordinates. Reviews and approves the performance evaluations prepared by his subordinates for their team and submits them to the Administration

• Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.

• Researches and evaluates pertinent professional and related legal literature to establish and/or recommend changes to accounting procedures and operations.

• Developing good working relationships with professionals such as bankers, auditors or statutory organizations for the benefit of the firm



• Provides internal/external training both orally and in writing on accounting systems, procedures and practices.



• Interprets various accounting data, analyzes reports and recommends and/or initiates actions to be taken.

• Assist the Controller in the daily banking requirements.

• Supports budget and forecasting activities.

• Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

• Advises staff regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions.

• Supervise the Accounting Department to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.

• Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.

• Work with each direct report to establish goals and objectives for each year; monitor and advice on the progress to enhance the professional development of staff.
