Head of Marketing - Qatar Foundation

Job Purpose:

The Marketing Unit Head is responsible for the management and implementation of the Qatar Foundation (QF) marketing plan in support of the objectives of the QF communications strategy and branding in collaboration with the Creative Unit Head. The position will support the objectives of the QF communications strategy and overall QF business strategy, and will supply marketing communications plans with design scheme proposals to enhance the messaging strategy. The position will manage a team composed of a marketing specialist and customer relations.



KEY RESULT AREAS

 Provide strategic leadership and advice in relation to the communications and marketing for all PRM strategy goals, core services and thematic campaigns, including the QF corporate marketing campaign

 Lead and oversee the delivery of communications and marketing strategies for all PRM strategy goals, core services and thematic campaigns by in-house or external suppliers

 Lead the co-ordination of marketing communications activities and campaigns to ensure corporate and specific messages are delivered and the profile and reputation of QF and its entities maintained and enhanced

 Proactively identify opportunities to reinforce QF’s positioning, and issues which need to be addressed, and then take these forward through planned communications programmes

 Promote QF’s strategic leadership and influencing roles through managing our relationship with key national and regional stakeholders in the public and private sector

 Delivery of associated balanced scorecard objectives

 Uphold QF’s values and principles of the Customer Service principles

 Lead the marketing communications team and cross cutting project teams as required

 Manage tasks and supervise deliverables for Marketing Specialist and Customer Relations

 Familiarize, understand and implement QF health, safety, and environment policy, procedures, legal regulations and objectives applicable to areas of responsibility. Ensures coordination with HSE department in implementing, monitoring and reviewing of HSE performance to ensure work under his/her control is performed in a safe, healthy and environmentally sound manner.
