Presales Manager - Waseela

This position will be responsible to lead, manage and mentor presales team and Supervise solution designs

Preparing the design & Selling various products - for Security Systems (CCTV, IP CCTV, Access Control, IP Access Control, intrusion alarm system), Extra Low Voltage Systems (Public Address System, Gate barrier, Audio / Video Intercom, SMATV), * Audio / Visual System, Lighting Control, IPTV, Room Management System, Time & Attendance, HOME AUTOMATION) - and obtain the consultant / client approval. Preparing BOQ & Estimation, Develop RFI, RFP, and RFQ responses, Budgeting the installation work, developing new relationships with principles & suppliers.

Performs and oversees presales tasks related to design, estimation, developing proposals for Security and ELV systems. Providing professional assistance and technical advice to the Sales department; coordinating projects with Projects, Engineering and Logistics groups prior, during and post installations; coordinating with the vendor and suppliers for systems components; evaluating requests for changes or additional work; directing the work of subordinate professional staff; and performs related work as required.



Key Duties:



• Conducts advanced and complex engineering and related studies, evaluates alternatives, makes recommendations and presents reports to MD ICT/ELV.

• Prepares and directs the preparation of designs, specifications, plans, estimates and reports for other related groups (Sales, Engineering, Projects, Logistics, etc).

• Reviews, directs the review drawings received from the clients to verify guidelines to conform to the design and proposal.

• Confers with and provides information to clients’ representatives, vendors and suppliers regarding conformance to standards, plans, specifications and codes; explains codes, requirements and procedures and evaluates alternatives.

• Performs project proposals for complex projects including finalizing scope of works, preparing bid summaries, preparing project installation costs and bill of materials, and submittals.

• Monitors and supervises design, including reviewing plans, specifications, estimates and calculations and giving technical advice on corrective action.

• Prepares engineering documents, including shop drawings, agreements, maps, legal descriptions, resolutions and ordinances.

• Attends reviews and meetings among project team members and clients’ representatives.

• Monitors and manages projects and evaluates effectiveness;

• Develops and reviews engineering plans and designs for security and ELV systems.

• Effectively representing the department and the company in meeting with clients representatives, vendors, suppliers and related individuals;

• Manages multiple tasks, often with competing deadlines;

• Prepares and reviews cost estimates;

• Writes technical reports and reviews plans, specifications, estimates and engineering calculations;

• Supervises and evaluates staff;

• Trains staff and directs their work on a project or day-to-day basis;

• Communicates effectively with officials, co-workers, subordinates, representatives of clients and others sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.

• Designs Active Network Switches is preferred.

• Prepares full submittal documents related to project.

• Study & Prepare RFPs & Tenders.
