The Project Controls role within the client’s office specifically involves the integration of time, cost and resource data into a system which enables Earned Value to be established and monitored.
The role requires a practical understanding of Planning and Programming at several levels including design, procurement, manufacturing, construction, operational readiness and handover / commissioning along with the ability to interrogate and ascertain resource levels relating to labour, plant and materials.
Coupled with an understanding of the above, a practical knowledge of cost management is required in order to align the projects cost plan with the schedule.
