Senior Irrigation Engineer - Parsons International Limited

Job Objective:



Reports to the Principal Landscape Architect and support the landscape team by conducting design review and project management services for all Irrigation works proposed for the project. Responsible to implement the project quality plan and quality procedures and productivity related to all site irrigation works in accordance with program of work on construction site. Assists in defining the process for execution of engineering activities related to all types of electrical systems; and to identify the need for specialty assistance.



Key Accountabilities:



• Manage consultant deliverables per client schedule.

• Oversees the preparation of contract drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes. Regularly interfaces with other disciplines as well as other departments.

• Review proposed irrigation and systems and materials for local compliance, quality and suitability to local conditions.

• Understands all related codes and their application to the project; and overseas/manages the interface with local agencies to coordinate design standards usage and monthly approvals’ process.

• Ensure designs/deliverables are compliant with scope of work and contract requirements.

• Submit and track comments, queries, technical clarifications, etc.

• Provides technical guidance to CAD designer/drafters, designers and technical staff.

• Provides regular reports and presentations to Senior Management and Client Personnel as needed.
