- The Technical Project Manager will be in charge of planning, executing, and closing all technical aspect of the project according to deadlines, and oversee quality, risks and issues to insure proper project execution. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating efforts among team members, third-party contractors and consultants “where applicable”.
- Comply with the standard project management processes, procedures and templates set by the division PMO.
- Participate with the division PMO in setting the standard management plans and templates for scope, time, budgets, human resources, risks & issues, quality, stakeholder communications and procurement.
- Ensure all projects deliveries are made within the planned timeframes, quality and budgets.
- Estimate human resources and project teams required to execute the projects.
- Identify projects risks and responses strategies.
- Identify project procurement requirements, contractual requirements and participate in RFPs development “if required”.
- Develop project quality measures and design project review meetings.
- Implement all approved management plans.
- Perform team meetings and project quality checks
- Manages day-to-day operational technical aspects of a project and scope.
- Report performance (progress, budgets, risks and issues) and effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion as per the communication matrix.
- Ensure all technical project deliverables are within the required quality standards.
- Ensure proper and formal deliverables handover and sign off.
- Regular contacts with support service providers.
