POSITION PURPOSE:
The role is responsible to ensure that Move One operations run effectively and efficiently in this region, in line with the organization's mission, strategic objectives and policies.
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES / FUNCTIONS TASKS:
Responsible for building the revenue stream across all products (moving, relocation, pets, logistics).
Profit and Loss results accountability and responsibility for the country on all products.
Focus on execution of operations in country.
Ensure the proper financial controls are in place.
Ensure annual operating budgets are managed within targets.
Budgeting - monthly, quarterly and yearly reviews, re-forecasts, P&L statement review.
Stay current on customer and industry trends.
Responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relations.
Provide excellent Customer Service to ensure customer issues are resolved.
Provide defined management accounting reports, procedures and metrics as required by HQ.
Reviewing costs in jobs, statuses, invoicing.
Quote won/loss ratio review, make sure follow ups are done properly.
Coordinating AR and AP.
Control of cash flow, funding request, review of accounting reports.
Ensure all regulatory and legal operating requirements are met and the organisation complies with local laws and regulations (including registration licenses being up to date, visa and residency permits issues)
Ensuring the proper staff, facilities/warehousing, uniforms, vehicles and services are in place in order to execute work.
Ensure the health and safety requirements are developed, mirrored (from HQ) and managed.
Work on operational improvements, supervise and coordinate operations on all products.
Review of operational problems, warehousing, relationships with vendors and independent contractors (including relocation consultants).
Oversee the implementation of the human resources policies, procedures and practices including the development of job description for all staff.
Recruit, interview, select, train and develop staff that have the right technical and personal abilities to help further the organization's mission.
Performance management and improvement systems.
Responsible for the day to day management of all team members to ensure high performance and productivity levels are maintained at all times and objectives and targets are achieved.
Manage and motivate sales teams to ensure they meet agreed targets.
Establish strategies for lead generation, pricing and cross selling.
Frequent checking of outgoing and incoming invoices, quotes, waybill documents and control over valid accounting details and information of agents and vendors
Sales and business development strategies including sales meetings, networking meetings, organizing events, research international partners
Marketing strategies and implementation.
Setting sales objectives on weekly and monthly level, organize and attend sales meetings, maintain relationship with key accounts.
Overview of the sales and operations staff.
Representing the organization at meetings.
Represent Move One at external conferences, as and when agreed.
Regular reporting to HQ: management, sales, marketing and HR.
Source, secure and maintain a solid sponsorship agreement that will benefit the company and its employees.
Manage and monitor all sponsorship agreements, registration documents, trade licenses and leases (including insurance, when applicable).
Other duties as reasonably assigned.
