Duties and Responsibilities:
• Candidate will have overall responsibility for visiting and evaluating our export markets. Carry out survey of market requirements and sales opportunities. Visit potential clients and identify their parts needs in relation to their market.
• Identify and develop wholesale clients in our African markets for our Truck and car products,
• Ensure that sales objectives are met.
• Interact with Parts Managers Warehouse Manager and Procurement Manager to arrange pricing and delivery.
• Help to identify products which are saleable in these markets which may not currently exist in our portfolio.
• Provide customers prompt and courteous service while fulfilling their auto parts needs.
• Identify the parts requested, inform the customer of the price and availability, negotiate discount.
• Assist customers in locating parts and providing quotations, by checking with our suppliers.
• Maintain a good relationship with customers.
• Calm dissatisfied customers and resolve complaints.
• Refer requests for parts not available in stock to the Parts Procurement In-Charge to process and procure as per procedures.
• Submit recommendations to the Parts Manager on matters that may lead to sales improvements.
