The Human Resources Officer performs the administration of the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources functions and duties. The HR Officer carries out responsibilities in all of the following functional areas: Recruitment, Leave Management, EOS, Travel Co-ordination, Medical Insurance, Training, GOSI, etc.
1. Assist in sourcing potential candidates for approved vacancies based on the relevant Job Descriptions.
2. Prepare training plans with HR Director in coordination with concerned department heads and in line with company business needs.
3. Facilitate the annual performance evaluation exercise.
4. Reviews Weekly Absentee Reports; identify issues that need action; and appropriate follow up on all attendance issues.
5. Reviews the staff data/requests updates; compares data with documents on file; report data discrepancies to ensure that staff information in the database are accurate, and up to date.
6. Complete GOSI subscription forms as appropriate or requested; submit subscription forms to GOSI on a Monthly basis to ensure accurate, timely and consistent reporting.
7. Complete appropriate processes to issue Medical Insurance for new staff and replacement cards as requested to ensure that staff will have access to Medical Services all the time.
8. Prepare all types of letters requested by the staff as per the established guidelines and time frames to ensure proper services are provided to the staff and in timely manner.
9. Arrange travel requests of employees through external Travel Agents.
10. Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.
