A leading Global Health Insurer are currently seeking to hire a Medical Services Advisor for the their team based in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Medical Professional with a background in the Insurance Sector.
Duties:
• Preauthorization of in-patient treatment.
• Aggressive cost containment through tight adjudication, correct evaluation of medical appropriateness and successful negotiation.
• Case management of complex cases.
• Maintain relationships with brokers/clients/providers.
• Medical claims reviews
• Responsibility for Health, Safety and Welfare within team (please refer to the Company’s Safety Statement for full list of responsibilities).
• Ad hoc duties
