Our client, a leading Oil and Gas Exploration company is looking to recruit an Emerson AMS System Engineer with the following skills:
- Engineering graduate.
- Minimum of 8 or more years of experience in Industry
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Emerson AMS system.
- Install the AMS device manager from scratch. Should be able to build the entire AMS network and system configuration.- Perform system admin tasks like backups, control username and privileges, configuration/modification of device alerts.- Work on the AMS system architecture and interface to DCS and other packages.
- System upgrades and security patch management.
- Maintain calibration schedules and reports.- Perform calibration of devices using calibration assistant.- Install/remove devices.
The position is based in Qatar with successful candidates ideally starting in August/September 2014.
