Position Summary:
The positions will perform on-site environmental inspections associated with metro major-stations construction, to ensure compliance with Qatari and international environmental regulations and standards.
The positions are based in Doha, State of Qatar. The standard schedule is 6 days per week.
Essential Duties:
- Conduct environmental site inspections and monitor various construction activities
- Assess environmental conditions on site
- Conduct environmental sampling as needed and oversee sampling and investigations by environmental service providers
- Prepare daily written inspection reports
- Conduct environmental training for construction personnel
- Work independently and communicate effectively with project staff, contractors, and client
- Operate equipment such as GPS, digital cameras, and utilize computer software such as Microsoft products including emails, Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer
