Head of Export Control - Barakah Based - ENEC

To ensure all regulatory requirements related to Export Control are met at ENEC corporate and Barakah Nuclear Power Plant.



Export Control Daily Operations

•Supervise the Nuclear Material, imports, controlled documents, export and re-export of equipment’s for maintenance

•Enhance responsibility for export control tasks

•Work closely with Safeguards Manager on how regulating imports/re-export of equipment’s, materials, and technologies should be handled

•Lead development and implementation of ENEC’S export control policies and practices

•Supervise Nuclear Material (NM) Accountancy and Control at BARAKAH site

•Oversee the Physical Inventory at the nuclear facility

•Review Export Control reports before they are submitted to FANR

•Attend industry meetings/conferences to remain updated with latest standards and best practices

Manage condition reports and corrective actions to ensure effective implementation



Budget

•Prepare/recommend the development of the section/department budget respectively, and monitor financial performance versus the budget to ensure alignment



People Management

•Manage the effective achievement of organization’s objectives by setting individual targets, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal - in order to maximize subordinate and department performance

•Contribute to the development of UAE National employees in a manner which supports the objectives of the corporation and its Emiritization strategy

•Contribute to knowledge dissemination/sharing in a way that assists with building internal capabilities of UAE Nationals where applicable and maximize their effective performance



Stakeholder Engagement

•Facilitate communication both internally and externally in order to build and nurture mutually beneficial working relationships



HSE

•Ensure compliance to all relevant health, safety and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, by delivery of the HSE Management Program to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality service and a responsible environmental attitude
