IT Infrastructure Manager

• Establishes vision, strategy, and roadmaps that align with business priorities for the Company’s global network infrastructure.

• Research new technology advancements and conduct evaluations focused on optimizing and improving network configuration, performance, capacity, availability, and operational reliability.

• Defines and maintains technology standards.

• Partners with Infrastructure Service owners to establish and evolve Service and Technology Roadmaps.

• Partners with key vendors to influence future product requirements and enhancements to address business needs

• Oversees the execution of technology proof of concepts, pilots, and technology adoption.

• Partners with architect peers on both infrastructure and application solutions.

• Performs ROI and other cost-benefit analysis of new strategies and technologies.

• Leads transformational infrastructure project implementations driving service transition from architecture into operational delivery.

• Preparation and administration of the infrastructure budget as well as the maintenance and monitoring of certain budgetary items.

• Prepare management reports regularly and establish and maintain regular communication with executives, department heads, IT team members and users regarding systems and operational activity.

• Manage and participate in Installing, configuring new / existing servers . mail, DNS, ISA, etc., hardware peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc.

• Managing, maintaining, and develop and installation and configuration procedures.

• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs.

• Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions and updating the antivirus on client machine.

• Manage and participate in Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies.

• Ensure the application of OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, upgrading administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.

• Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required.

• Monitor network / infrastructure services for optimal performance. Provide recommendations for services that are not meeting performance goals and objectives.
