Manager – Investment Office - Roads and Transport Authority

•Develop new business relationships, generate and negotiate new income for the RTA.

•Identify and develop new non-fare revenue streams through leveraging from existing Rail assets and partnership projects with public and private sectors, according to RTA’s policies & procedures.

•Lead the execution of new and existing investment contracts including retail contracts, naming rights, funding initiatives and advertising contracts to ensure that they are carried out effectively to maximize the Agency budget to the benefit of the RTA.

•Interact with all stakeholders and coordinate with them regarding all commercial projects and getting their feedback and suggestions on how to improve commercial projects and revenue for the Agency.

•Develop and update the work process, procedures, methodology and Forms for tender. documentation, appointing & qualifying consultants and Contractors for RTA’s project.

•Prepare tenders’ technical specification and tender documentation for selected contracts concerning investment and rental of RTA’s Assets.

•Coordinate with Contracts &Purchasing and Asset Management Departments to ensure that annual investment plan targets are met.

•Analyse and follow up the results of investment opportunities, research, and studies.

•Direct and analyse statistical data and reports to identify causes of commercial issues and develop recommendations and improvement solutions.

•Manage the Investment Office team budget, monitor implementation, evaluate and recommend specific adjustments during the implementation to satisfy project needs.

•Approve and manage the annual Investment plan, KPIs and provide periodical reports, and updates as necessary.

•Improve the Investment Office management system, and submit team and personal individual performance plans and business objectives on a timely manner and as required.

•Analyse new investments and complete project feasibility analyses, budgets, markets, models.

•Maximize the potential return and revenue to the Agency through building, developing, updating and analysing a robust financial model of the business case.

•Liaise with the relevant departments and implement the critical factors/conditions for safeguarding and ensure the terms and conditions for the most ideal business model is in place.

•Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations.

•Provide continued support to other Agency Directorate on all matters to achieve successful Railway opening.

•Establish, implement, maintain and continually improve the Agency Asset Management System in line with Corporate requirements.

•Establish and allocate asset management roles, responsibilities and authorities consistent with AM policy, strategy and plans.

•Undertake annual review of the entire Asset Management System and identify, evaluate and implement opportunities for improvement.

•Communicate with all employees and relevant contractors the importance of complying with the requirements of the Agency AMS in order to achieve RTA’s and Agency’s strategic plan

•Perform other related duties and responsibilities associated with the position.
