Portfolio Business Analyst

Business Responsibilities:



•Provide the Portfolio Manager with the guidance and support to define and maintain the business processes in alignment with the overall enterprise business strategy,

•Provide support to and ensure compliance with the enterprise portfolio model,

•Foster and support cross functional collaboration across the organization,

•Ensure the enterprise goals and objectives are clearly represented in all deliverables in addition to providing piers the support required to grow within the organization,

•Build, develop, and maintain client relationships in target customer groups internally and externally.



Role Responsibilities:



•Manage the development of tools, techniques and templates to assist in the development of the portfolio and gating process,

•Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis to effectively manage and monitor the eHealth Portfolio

•Develop and assess the feasibility candidate portfolio scenarios that produce balanced portfolios,

•Moderate reporting and automation skills working with the broader Strategy and Change Management Office (SCMO) team to integrate the end to end automated process,

•Work closely with the broader SCMO team to design and integrate the enterprise process required to support the Portfolio operational tasks,

•Provide strategic business planning, advisory and assessment services to link the Portfolio process with client requirements for IT solutions,

•Facilitate the ongoing development and continued evolution of the Portfolio Management Framework and business planning methodology for the Portfolio team,

•Stay abreast of ongoing Portfolio trends and developments and remain current within profession or field,

•Participate in various projects and initiatives, working in a fast paced team setting with business owners, architects, technical analysts and technical writers. Also assist managers and technical writers with their tasks if/when needed,

•Brainstorm, conceptualize and document business and technology frameworks and models future improvements and modifications to the baseline models to support changing business requirements,

•Perform gap analysis, build business flows of current and future state for resulting solutions,

•Prepare feasibility studies including developing cost and benefit estimates to establish opportunity worth, including the development of alternatives and recommendations,

•Solve operational problems and identify improvements by leveraging and simplifying processes and minimizing touch points and documenting them,

•Provide support for opportunity approval requirements in alignment with the strategy, portfolio and governance gating process.
