Production Control Specialist - Middle East Propulsion Company, Ltd

Basic Functions:



The Production Control Specialist reports directly to the Operations, Director and is responsible to coordinate and expedite flow of work and materials within or between operations according to the production schedule.





Duties and Responsibilities:



• Compile and produce the production schedule forecast

• Review and distribute production, work, and delivery schedules

• Confer with operations and other department heads to determine progress of work and production problems

• Coordinate with concerned department heads in order to review and update documents such as production schedules, work orders to determine personnel, material requirements, and material priorities in order to obtain a better Return of Sales (ROS)

• Conduct periodic meetings with the production department and other department heads to assess progress and discuss needed changes to maintain the production schedule based on the customer requirements.

• Revise production schedules when required due to configuration changes, labor or material shortages, stoppage times, or other interruptions and confer/coordinate with Operations, Materials, PME’s, and Engineering to resolve the problem

• Record production data, volume produced modules which includes; received and delivered modules monthly, and total year to date

• Distribute production schedules to concerned departments

• Compile information such as; production rates and progress, customer information and then compile and produce required status reports

• Update the Gating plan on timely basis

• Follow-up on the production flow

• Perform statistics analysis of the production
