Project Controls Senior Specialist - ENEC

A key function of the Programme Management Director’s (PMD) organization is the PMO. The purpose of the PMO is to support ENEC’s CEO in making ENEC a strategically-focused, disciplined, effective, efficient, and integrated business organization through the development, implementation, and leadership of robust corporate strategies, management processes and initiatives. In the 2012-2015 time period, the PMO’s focus will be on setting ENEC’s strategy and establishing strategically-aligned, best-in-class processes and infrastructure, thereby positioning ENEC to deliver power to the grid by 2017 and achieve its strategic goals.

The PMO Project Analyst’s principal role is to be an expert in Project Controls and specifically one area such as scheduling, risk management, stakeholder management etc. The PMO will provide assurance, control and support to the ENEC programmes to ensure delivery of the business outcomes. As such, integrity and communication of project information is a core activity of the PMO.

The PMO must also be a leading exponent of the ENEC Project management methodology and will therefore be mentors to staff and also support Project Managers teams as required.. The successful candidate must therefore possess, in addition to technical acumen, management and communication skills and abundant initiative, motivation, adaptability, comfort with uncertainty, and cultural sensitivity.
