Our client, one of the leading global IT consulting firm, is seeking an Experienced OBIEE/GREENPLUM Reporting Consultant for their project in Kuwait. This is a genuine opportunity to earn some tax free income in a growing economy in addition to gaining some great Middle Eastern expertise.
In order to qualify for this role, you need to possess the following:
Technology:
- Database : Advanced knowledge in GreenPlum and Oracle (SQL, Functions, Analytical Functions, SAP)- BI Tools : Manage the OBIEE and SAP BO repository (Create Physical, Presentation Layer)
Concepts:
- Telecommunication Industry systems (Billing, Rating, Mediation, CRM, IN, CDRs, ..etc)- Data Warehouse Concepts and Design (Facts, Dimensions, Star Schema, Cubes, Analytical Functions )- Preferably having knowledge in KPI's such as ARPU, Base, Gross Adds, Churn etc- Analyze the Reporting/Analysis Requirements for complex requests- Analyze the Source systems and identify the best sources to fulfill the customers' requirements- Develop the Data Mapping between the Requirements and Source Systems- Translate the requirement into a proper script(s) to generate the report.- Execute the Testing/Quality Checks for the Business Model and Data Mapping part and data accuracy.- Able to perform complex queries through different type of joins, number of sources or complexity of the business logic and looping.- Implement the scripts into the end user layer such as OBIEE, SAP or equivalent environments.- Responsible for Completing the Business Model on the BI Layer for the new requirements- Agree with the Customer on UAT cases
