Summary
Drive RPD’s safety policy development and enforcement
Responsibilities
Monitor performance of safetypolicies and develop monthly reports
Represent the division in knowledge sharing initiatives with COMPANY and across divisions
Facilitate in internal and external audit activities
Tasks
Ensure division implementation of the division HSSE Policy
Contribute to the development of the division HSEMS focusing on safety in accordance with corporate governance and OHSAS 18001, including policies, objectives, procedures and associated forms
Support HR in the development and implementation of training plans
Support the development of division safety training material
Support HR in the development of the HSSE incentive program, focusing on safety matters
Ensure the division’s audit program is maintained and adjusted to reflect the system requirements
Promote and ensure development of continuous improvement techniques and practices, including incident reduction programs and talent management
Promote a division safety culture
Ensure coordination of all division safety matters by receiving regular reports, making visits, and ensuring that information is circulated to keep all concerned parties fully informed
Maintain effective communications with the HSE Manager and Project Safety Managers to ensure an adequate flow of information relating to health performance
Ensure safety input is provided to the tendering process to ensure requirements are planned into projects at the earliest opportunity
Contribute to the development of Safety sections of the Project HSSE Plan
Support the project Safety team when needed in the development of related procedures and the development of corrective and preventive measures to address hazards and risks
Develop division safety KPIs, ensure they are measurable and achievable, review annually
Measure and report on COMPANY safety KPIs (objectives) to the HSE Manager
Consolidate and report to the Unit Head COMPANY safety KPIs measured on the projects
Report division safety performance trends to the HSE Manager including major issues which could affect business performance
Observe the HSSE policies and procedures at all times
Comply with the ethical policies and code of conduct
Effective management, motivation, training and development of division and project safety department resources
Assist in the recruitment of project HSE personnel
Carry out additional duties as allocated by the HSE Manager
