• Fulfil execution needs for the Asset Management business, at favourable prices using VWAP as a benchmark for equities and mid-market prices for fixed income trades.

• Ensure no trading errors.

• Full compliance with trade execution policy.

• Contribute to the creation of new and maintenance of existing relationships with trade execution and settlement counterparties.

• Contribute to the generation of trading ideas given knowledge of markets and participants.

• Generate reports for all the relevant departments to enable the adequate monitoring and processing of trading activities.

• Acquire skills in all aspects of RIBL’s business by cross training within the organization.

• Familiarize yourself with all fixed income issuers and their credit profile.

• Provide DMA & insights into regional equities / fixed income.

• Notify PM’s of market sensitive information and any IPOs or fixed income primary market issuance.

• Ensure daily trading activities yield best possible results.
