CAD Administrator - Qatar Rail

Job Purpose:

Qatar Rail is seeking an experienced CAD Administrator to administrate, Install, maintain and support the CAD Environments.



Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain Autodesk enterprise licensing agreement

• Installation, maintenance and support of all desktop CAD software.

• Administrating the vault Collaboration, Map server and Provi Environments and servers.

• Maintenance of Autodesk subscription centre including distribution of relevant updates and add-ins

• Provision of CAD software education and mentoring for all relevant Qatar Rail staff

• Perform on-going maintenance of the Qatar Rail Drawing Management and CAD Collaboration systems

• Ensure that all externally submitted drawings are compliant with Qatar Rail’s CAD Standards

• Develop and maintain backup and archiving solutions for all CAD and CAD related data including vault and Map servers.

• Manage IT/CAD helpdesk for all CAD related queries

• Provide documentation for workflows as required

• Have a strong desire to help make Qatar Rail a world-class organization by contributing new ideas and innovative suggestions.

• Liaison with the Auto Desk vendor for any upgrades and support.
