Deputy Project Manager

Role Summary:

- Follow up with client & architect starting concept to detail design, control pre-construction & construction activities of small to medium projects; control construction cost, and secure thorough review and input of all consultants to achieve timely and on budget the design intent during construction.

- Synchronizes the works for a quick start and smooth progress of the works, in order to achieve the set milestones.



Main Accountabilities

1. Thorough review of Drawings, Specifications & Bills of Quantities and any related modification. Secure intelligently design intent

2. Follow up on Design, provide insight to client during design to avoid late changes

3. Propose alternative materials in line with the approved concept & budget in order to preserve the design identity and approved cost

4. Coordinate all technical information with Contractor and respond timely on technical requests for information by exchanging with the Client

5. Implement (intelligently) request for change from Client to avoid impacting the approved budget and timeline of the project

6. Maintains & controls the quality of the site works through challenging construction methods of contractors & providing viable alternative solutions in coordination with consultants

7. Prepare reporting on design, construction and procurement, in order to timely notify any risk to program, quality or cost, before it is late for implementation

8. Propose & procure furniture, accessories, and fabrics selection and procurement for projects (private and investment)

9. Ensure final testing, commissioning and snagging/punching responsibility in order to achieve a snag or blame free final product
