A progressive group company is now looking to hire for an experienced individual to Head their Catering Division. This position reports in the Group General Manager.
They are looking for an Incumbent Professional. The ideal candidate must bring with him a proven background as a professional with a diverse hospitality sector / large scale Catering / Food & Beverage Multi Unit Location operating Industrial, intuitional, & Event management experience. He will be responsible for the operational aspects of all assets under the companies control and work closely with the company¡¦s senior management.
Candidate provides leadership and strategic direction, coordinating all hospitality sector / Food & Beverage activities of the company, in accordance with the goals and objectives of the company. This person will be responsible to safeguard and grow the assets of the organization over the long-term whilst providing strong profits to the company. Participates in long and short term strategic planning for and is responsible for the day-to-day operations with primary focus on the internal operations of the business. He will take a proactive role in the formulation of future strategic objectives and submitting them for input, discussion and decision for ratification in order to achieve the company¡¦s objectives within agreed budgets and timelines.
The candidate we seek will have a hands-on understanding of and demonstrated strengths in the business development function as well as broad experience in product development, operations, engineering, environmental, health & safety management with the ability to utilize these functions effectively toward the achievement of the overall objectives of the Company. Must have held progressively more challenging positions in the hospitality sector and successfully led multi-disciplinary teams in the development and achievement of strategic objectives. Have an excellent knowledge of the hospitality business gained within a multi-branded Hospitality company of a good reputation with a strong understanding of ownership, management contracts, joint venture and franchise business models.
