Logistics Manager - Azadea

Define, develop, set up and monitor the implementation of a proper operations base that covers all

concerned parties such as; internal contacts, forwarding companies, clearing agents, insurance

companies, warehousing facilities and land transportation services

Direct the proper operations’ start-up by validating information received from the Regional Operations

department

Reduce costs when possible by managing allocated budget/expenditures and report variances

between effective and set budget to guarantee effective cost management

Manage the complete process of receiving goods while ensuring timely delivery to proper venues

Assess, constantly, the logistics network ensuring optimal service to the business

Manage, periodically, the quality, cost and efficiency of items’ movement/storage

Benchmark and evaluate rates between different Logistics providers and update the regional office

accordingly

Analyze/solve logistical issues, conduct feasibility studies and prepare supply chain simulation for new

brands/products in order to develop the business

Recruit, train, motivate and evaluate his/her team to ensure that the department has the necessary

skill base and that staff are optimally motivated and enabled to maximize their potential and

contribution to the company
