Port Manager - Doha Port - Progressive Global Energy

Our client a global leader in the logistics, shipping and port services organisation is looking to recruit an experienced and driven Port Manager to take responsibility for a rapidly growing portfolio







Our client has a variety of operations and has rapid growth plans for the next 3- 5 years with expansion of operations and commercial opportunities







The Port manager will be liaising with a variety of clients and stakeholder to ensure the port is run in a commercially minded way whilst ensuring standard operating procedures are delivered and adhered to.







The successful candidate will:

- Work closely with the clients and owner of the port to ensure all SOP's are maintained- Run the P&L to deliver commercial growth- Spot opportunities and ensure contracts are viable- Mange the entire port staff and troubleshoot day to day problems- Train and develop team members to ensure the operations grow over next 3-5 years









The successful candidate must have:

- At least 15 years of relevant experience in the port industry- Experience in cargo and container terminals- Proven commercial experience and P&L management- Project management skills is a plus- Arabic & English speaker- GCC Experience- Excellent presentation, communication and report writing skills
