Recruitment Officer - Arab center for research and policy studies

The Recruitment Officer will be under the direct responsibility of the HR Director. The role is responsible of the development and implementation of the recruitment and on-boarding processes for Doha Institute.



Key Responsibilities



• Support in the development and implementation of recruitment objectives and policies.

• Closely coordinate with hiring managers to understand the requirements, to agree on timelines and to identify appropriate sourcing method/s

• Ensure job descriptions are current and signed by the hiring manager

• Prepare job advertisements

• Liaise directly with recruitment agencies as needed

• Systematize the recruitment activities related to the screening, selection and recruitment of candidates

• Develop interview feedback guidelines, follow-up charts and reports

• Receive and ensure proper tracking of all CVs from various sources: recruitment agencies, online posting, referrals, direct inquiry, etc.

• Conduct initial screening of CVs based on requirements and ensure candidate’s compliance with Qatar visa/work permit regulations, attestation of certificate/s and submission of professional references

• Submit required CVs to the hiring manager

• Organize interview panels and schedule candidate interviews

• Follow-up interview results

• Organize pre-boarding administrative and logistic requirements

• Assist in facilitating new hire
