Researcher - Qatar Foundation

Job Purpose:

The Researcher conducts various research activities for data collection on relevant and assigned subjects/reports.



KEY RESULT AREAS

 Support DIIFSD senior research staff in conducting research.

 Participates as team member in research projects, including team discussions, data collection, interviews, analyses, writing, preparing presentations, reviewing and revising written work.

 Collects data from multiple sources, tabulation and summarization of data for publication and presentations, and review of relevant literature based on Arabic and English language sources.

 Conducts simple quantitative and qualitative analyses.

 Participate in new research development including conceptualization of ideas for new projects.

 Coordinate efforts between DIIFSD and collaborating researchers and research organizations.

 Use technologies, publications, periodicals, research tools and databases to access research, abstracts and statistics on relevant topics.

 Develop and maintain repositories of reports, policies and research related defined priority research topics at DIIFSD.

 Work with other team members to design, manage and maintain databases to support research work.

 Collaborate with senior research staff to write and present research papers.

 Participates, as appropriate, in research related meetings and conferences at the national and regional levels.

 Participates in the organization of research related events at DIIFSD.

 Familiarize, understand and implement QF health, safety, and environment policy, procedures, legal regulations and objectives applicable to areas of responsibility.
