Restaurant Manager

Manage and oversee the efficient running of shifts in the Restaurant. Act as a part of the senior management team and undertake duty management decisions as requested.

1-Ensure that all guests are welcomed at the door in a courteous, polite and helpful manner and address all guests in the correct manner with the correct title and tend to guests’ requirements promptly.

2- Proactively promote and exceed agreed KPI’s

3- To take a keen interest in the current business situation and to bring in sound ideas to increase profit, decrease spending, up selling orders and maximizing guests spend where possible.

4- To understand the opening and closing duties, preparing of bills for cash and credit payment, moving customers orders, splitting orders, database build and management of back of house applications.

5- To efficiently administer and action the daily mail, guest report lists, staff rotas, holiday forms and other paperwork that is required to ensure accurate notes are kept and are accessible.

6- To effectively communicate with the other departments and colleagues, suppliers to ensure that all information is communicated to the right addressee.

7- A briefing is held on a daily basis and important events are communicated to all employees.

8- To be actively involved in all staff related issues and to handle them in a professional manner.

9- Assist the Operations Manager in identifying recruitment needs.

10- Responsible for all departmental induction training and on the job training of new members of staff and also newly promoted staff.

11- Comply with health and safety regulations.

12- Well know with food safety practices.

13- Maintain correct safety and security procedures as required and ensure all staff are aware of these procedures in their specific work areas.

14- Ensure incident reports are completed efficiently, with sufficient details and follow through.

15- Assume responsibility for any matters within the restaurant which may arise during the service period and solve them in the most appropriate and effective way with an emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction.

16- Attend all scheduled meetings.

17- Support and implement the Company local store marketing programs.

18- Directly reporting to Operations manager.
