Cost Reduction Analyst - Zain Group

The Role:



To analyze and drive down costs across the company with an emphasis on technology.



The Responsibilities:



Cost optimization prioritization

* Identify, assess and prioritize areas where costs (primarily OPEX) can be optimized.

* Propose how these costs savings can be realized.



Cost element analysis

* Analyze in-depth cost saving opportunities for prioritized costs elements.

* Benchmark costs, internally or externally, to validate cost saving opportunities.



Cost modeling and planning

* Develop financial model to validate and track costs savings

* Develop action plan to realize costs savings



Cost optimization tracking and reporting

* Drive and track progress of implementation of costs optimization initiatives

* Work with the Finance to implement identified cost savings

* Track benefits and savings realized per initiative

* Report to management on progress per initiative, e.g. on weekly basis

* Identify and resolve or escalate any issues

* Identify and mitigate risks
