ICT Manager - End User / Infrastructure - SSH

Purpose



- Ultimately accountable for ensuring all International Employees have fully functioning IT equipment and connectivity to business management systems.



Responsibilities



• Ability to hold Standalone role covering and supporting all local end user / new joiners requirements in an effective and timely manner including setups, instillations, training, updates, scheduling, configurations, tests, and security for hardware, software, and operating systems.

• To develop departmental plan, manage implementation and integration of all related activities in line with the deliverables across End User Support Ability to build and develop an End User support team as and when growth in local office occurs ensuring IT rollouts are within budget and to program, and can demonstrates team managerial skills (Delegation, mentoring, assessing) when it will be required.

• Communicates, advises, and coordinates with ICT Director / central ICT Team on the local requirements, procurement, policy and procedures improvements.

• Ensures getting appropriate Service level Agreements with service providers, manages Service and Software licenses Renewals, and coordinates with HW & SW vendors and service providers to follow up in order for procuring IT

• Advices and implements set ups and administers IT Infrastructure Components in local offices - Servers, Network, Communication, & Security, liaising with central ICT infrastructure team when required.

• Supports and works on Infrastructure / Network & Security requirements including backups, spot checks, setups, and administering Infrastructure and Data Centre components; communicating and coordinating with central ICT Team / ICT Director when required.

• Ensuring connectivity at all standard working times to required servers and remote connections.

• Maintain data centre environmental and monitoring equipment; ensure integrity, safeguard, and availability of corporate data as per SSH processes, procedures and policy.

• Actively identifies and mitigates for all IT risks relating / advising to local region senior management, and provides feedback to central ICT team.

• Continual improvement analysis of systems ensuring that SSH consultants is a leader in consultancy design technology

• To keep abreast with new trends and innovation to enhance existing core business processes



Context



Position based in Oman office

Reports to ICT Director / Central ICT Team for departmental requirements

Reports to Local Resident Director for ICT requirements for the business



Will work across all divisions and levels within local region
