Our client a multinational FMCG manufacturing company - FORTUNE 500 is seeking to hire a Supervisor Key Accounts. You will be directly reporting to the Area Manager
The accountabilities are as follows:
• Acquire and maintain an excellent knowledge of both the assigned region territory and the market, and ensure collection, consolidation and analysis of Key Accounts to ensure the availability of critical, business data to provide support in the decision making and development of KA programs and activities.
• Visit assigned Key Accounts on a regular basis, develop and maintain excellent business relationships with Key Accounts management and employees in order to develop long term relationships with these accounts and position PM as the preferred business partner.
• Conduct regular business reviews with key account customers to build on strength and eliminate weaknesses to build a competitive advantage and ensure continued growth for both parties.
• Identify new opportunities in Key Accounts/ Channels.
• Based on thorough market intelligence, support Marketing in the development of trade programs and/or propose changes, if any, to existing Programs.
• Ensure that approved Trade Programs are executed successfully and that they are relevant to local needs and opportunities.
• In co-operation with the central management of the Key Accounts, develop and implement a comprehensive Key Accounts program for each assigned Key Account.
• Analyze Key Accounts related performance data such as sales volumes, out of stocks, stock-levels, and POSM placements, in order to anticipate, propose and implement action plans addressing variances from the original plans and targets.
• Ensure consistent management of Key Accounts compliance to programs and contracts
• Agree with Marketing on Key Accounts specific consumer related programs and support the implementation of them.
• Ensure that Key Accounts needs for POS material within the assigned territory are identified and communicated in a timely manner.
• Train and develop Key Accounts Merchandisers with regards to merchandising principles and standards
• Train and develop Key Accounts Executives in account relationship management and effectively manage up their performance.
• Effectively negotiate, implement and manage trading terms and conditions with key accounts.
• Proactively co-operate with all members of the Area team to ensure internal communications and alignment.
