JOB PURPOSE:
To ensure agreed Production volumes are met, in a safe and sustainable manner with no incidents or harm to the environment, people or the asset, through developed and motivated staff.
Execution of Instrumentation maintenance support activities, and assigned projects, on time and within budget with overall operational cost control. Manage the running of RCA and FMEA work groups. Assist and support the predictive maintenance initiative, Review Instrumentation maintenance strategies, Review Equipment SILs and SIL proof test, Execution of Instrument maintenance MOCs, Review and prepare of new Instrumentation equipment specification. Review obsolete equipment spares and preparation of alternative spares specifications.

Safety, Health, Quality,Environment
• Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls, within a defined area, to guarantee employee safety, HR compliance, and delivery of high quality products / services in a responsible environmental manner.
• Performs Emergency Response Role as required by company.
• Participates in company safety programs.
Maintenance Strategy
• As a senior member of the Instrumentation section, contribute to the formulation and implementation of the Maintenance strategy and plans, to maximise the plant equipment availability and minimise equipment breakdown.
• Should able to assess & understand SIL loops.
Section Management
• Support the Instrumentation Supervisors in their day-to-day activities by providing Engineering solutions to problems and to ensure that work processes are implemented as per standards and procedures.
