Associate - Real Estate

Primarily responsible for supporting the Real Estate Team in creation and management of real estate funds, portfolios, DPMs, direct investments, private equity investments in the MENA region.



• Research local, regional and international real estate investments; identify supply and demand gaps and recommend new investments to the Head of Real Estate with appropriate rationales

• Work with the analysts to prepare detailed investment presentations

• Assist in conducting market and feasibility studies which support the investments

• Create cash flow models and be able to stress test the financial models

• Spread and analyze property financials on a historical, current and future perspective

• Analyze, summarize and comment on leases including summarizing Arabic leases / documents into English

• Help in drafting MOUs, mandate letters, engagement letters, request for proposals from business perspective

• Assist in drafting fund documents such as PPMs, Prospectus, Shareholder Agreements, Subscription Agreements etc

• Prepare detailed product presentation and marketing materials for investors

• Assist in structuring, internal and external (regulator) approvals of real estate products (real estate funds, portfolios)

• Work closely with third party property managers and leasing agents to provide direction for and oversight of business plans, budgets, forecasts, leases, analysis and approvals

• Assist in managing cash flow, distribution analysis and investment projections of funds

• Help in developing and distributing periodic asset management reports to investors, consultants and other partners

• Provide pre-acquisition input and assistance in due diligence process, including review of financial and operational assumptions, and supporting the effort of originating and negotiation of debt financing

• Model full life cycle financial analysis for each asset from acquisition through disposition

• Help in overseeing asset disposition process
