Responsible for new business (supermarket) opportunities with regards to expansion
Financially and strategically evaluate schemes prior to presenting them to the management.
Provide financial reports, prepare annual budgets & financial projections for the business
Drive excellence in store opening deliverables and ensure alignment with the overall business strategy.
Work with stores on controllable costs and review profit & loss of each store and see margin, percentage etc. is achieved as per business plan
Work closely with store design team, merchandise, visual team to drive layout, pricing & department / category wise changes as appropriate in the stores.
Improve overall profitability by applying depth customer & competitor knowledge, processes and feedback mechanisms to gather and act on appropriate information for business opportunities to drive sales.
Implement personnel policies and procedures that support the values of the business
Ensure adequate staffing, training, evaluation, safety and personnel systems.
