POSITION PURPOSE
The purpose of the role is to partner with employees and managers to communicate, implement and interpret HR and business policies and procedures. This Human Resources Specialist is reponsible for overseeing daily staffing operations and offering assistance to staff in the performance of their duties as needed. In addition, the specialist provides region-wide administrative support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate and implement HR policies and processes regionally.
Responsible for the day-to-day coordination of all HR policies and programs such as: hiring issues, terminations, disciplinarian, leaves of absence, general employee inquiries, etc. for 5 European countries (Poland, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Russia and Hungary).
Familiar with labor laws and employee practices in European countries.
Submits new employee data and information by entering and updating employment and status-changes.
Leads recruitment efforts and recruiting coordination for the hiring managers in the region. Follows approval processes and assists with preparing the appropriate hiring approval documents. Partners with hiring manager and any external partners, ensuring that the organization is recruiting top talent. Handles staffing coordination requirements (job description, screening CVs, interview scheduling, applicant tracking, approval process, candidate follow up, reference checks, etc). Works with Global Head of HR to develop competitive compensation packages (within set salary ranges) for candidates. Coordinates and monitors employee progress through employment process.
Conducts new orientation / training and following the full induction program.
Other duties as assigned.
