HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR for Colleges of Excellence in Al Wajh and U - Mondragon Wintec International Training Operator

This is an opportunity to be at the forefront of a very exciting and innovative international education project. Mondragon Educacion Internacional (MEI, Spain) and Wintec (New Zealand) are leading providers of international technical education, and we are working in partnership to manage a cluster of several male and female vocational and technical Colleges in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as one of the International Operators.



Ensuring high-quality jobs for Saudi Nationals is one of the most critical priorities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and they are embarking on one of the largest technical and vocational education and training upgrades in the world. This will increase the capacity of the system from 110,000 students to more than 400,000 students in the next 10 years using brand new, purpose-built colleges run by international operators. The project is of great strategic importance to the entire country and MEI and Wintec want to support the Saudi people to achieve their goals - and you too can be part of this exciting journey.



You will be a key part of the team providing a quality learning experience to 17-22 year old Saudi students and delivering these work-ready and well qualified graduates to the local Saudi industry and community.



Our colleges are in the coastal region of Tabuk:

• Al Wajh Technical College, Al Wajh City

• Al Wajh Technical College for Girls, Al Wajh City

• Umluj Technical College, Umluj City



Each College will accommodate 2000 students. Year One of Diploma level study will provide English language and foundation studies, basic IT and numeracy with Year Two and Year Three focusing on a range of vocational programmes. Year Three students will spend up to 30% of their time in on-job training. All programmes will be taught in English and aligned to the Saudi National Occupational Skill Standards (NOSS).



The main tasks/responsibilities of the Human Resources Director will be:



- Develop and implement strategies and policies for the company to support organisational performance.



- Develop effective strategies to ensure turnover levels are within agreed targets and minimise the impact on students.



- Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders within KSA Government Departments, recruitment agencies, etc. to constant supply of quality, work and visa-ready staff for the colleges.



- Provide functional leadership to the human resource staff within the college.
