Media Account Manager - q.media

Job purpose:



Manage expansion and maintenance of customer base for Audio Visual and Outdoor advertising sales as well as monitor and supervise achievement of Unit sales targets.



Strategic:



• Participate in development and implementation of Unit sales targets as well as contribute to overall q.media Sales Agency performance.

• Develop close working relationship with all customers within the designated sales portfolio.

Supervise initiatives targeted to overall unit effectiveness increase.



Operational:



• Develop a full working knowledge of the Audio Visual and Outdoor business and working practices.

• Lead identification of potential customers as well as supervise development of individual customer sales approach.

• Supervise the overall sales activities for the designated sales portfolio as well as monitor that individual sales targets are met. Provide coaching and guidance to Account Executives in their sales approach.

• Personally lead sales to key clients to ensure they become QMS clients.

Supervise preparation of proposals for potential clients ensuring that terms and conditions/ pricing are in line with the approved guidelines. Review all proposals before their submission as well as revert to the CMO and sales Directors for any non-standard situations.

• Monitor that agreements with the clients are prepared on time and the delivery of services is commenced only after the formalized agreements are completed, including credit checks with the Finance department.

• Analyse existing clients as well as manage up-selling initiatives to maximize value of the existing clients.

• Provide ideas and recommendations to incorporate marketing effort into sales activities by liaising with Marketing & Corporate Communications Department.

• Ensure that relationships with the assigned existing clients are well managed and any issues are resolved on a timely manner. Personally oversee resolution of key issues.

• Consult clients with regards to media planning and QMS services applicable to their needs.

• Recommend and supervise implementation of customer loyalty strengthening programmes to ensure that clients are willing to continue business relationship with QMS.

• Ensure that CRM database is well maintained and updated by the Sales team.

• Prepare and submit reports on the sales portfolio and Unit performance.

• Represents Company to build business relationships and promote QMS.

• Ensure implementation of standards and policies as imposed by the Organization.

• Liaise with business support functions (Finance, HR, IT and other) to ensure that all the required support services are provided on time and of the required level of quality.

Perform any other work related duties as assigned by GM Media Sales.



People:



• Ensure effective communication of corporate information to employees within the Unit including relevant policies and procedures.

• Ensure compliance with the performance management process and its linkages to learning and development, compensation, promotion, career development and succession planning. This is done in full collaboration with the HR function.

• Coach and mentor direct subordinates to develop their skills and ensure continuous people development.
