Job Overview:



A Recruitment Consultant is responsible for leading the recruiting process to ensure hiring targets are met; Assisting in efforts to source, screen, interview and hire high caliber talent into the organization. Writing job offers, job description also fall under their responsibility.



The position involves scouting the market for job candidates. To identify the right candidate, search your database for the person who possesses the qualities desired by your client. Network with other recruiters who may be knowledgeable about people who have the skills you need.



As a Recruitment Consultant, you assist in the selection process by interviewing applicants, reviewing their testimonials and certificates, or forwarding their resumes to the relevant departments. It is important to follow up on a candidate's references. At the end of the interview process, create a short list of the best candidates and submit their names to the Recruitment/ Sales department. Your role in the selection process entails notifying candidates of the outcome of the interviews and advising successful ones on issues such as career progression, pay rates and training.





Recruitment consultants are responsible for:

• Establishes recruiting requirements by studying requests from recruitment/ sales; meeting with managers to discuss needs.

• Builds candidate’s sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.

• Determines candidate’s requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.

• Attracts candidate by placing job advertisements; contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites.

• Determines candidate’s qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.

• Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules; arranges travel, lodging, and meals; escorting candidates to interviews; arranging tours.

• Evaluates candidates by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.

• Manages Onboarding Process by conducting orientations; scheduling introduction meetings and assignments; monitoring and coaching new recruits; advising managers on training and coaching.

• Creates weekly & monthly reports to update management on progression and targets achieved

• Organizes employee's files.
