Technical / process subject matter resource in the individual's area of expertise (AQ40)

Coaches plant personnel to resolve technical Operate Plant issues

Performs or assists in process related Root Cause or failure analysis

Enhances front line skills and knowledge through coaching on process, equipment, engineering, etc.

Identifies areas for improvement and network with technical resources that are identifying Most Effective Technology

Initiate, collaborate, and support improvement activities in the plant (i.e. work with reliability engineer to resolve mechanical reliability issues.)

Participates as required in Product Stewardship audits, customer visits, provide support to address and resolve customer needs.

Assists in performing day-to-day troubleshooting

Addresses yield issues that are on-going in cells

Able to escalate issues to appropriate personnel if unresolved

Provides insight to engineers/maintenance to status of issues and what troubleshooting has been performed



Local Responsibilities:

Operations Representative during the new equipment acceptance and Release to Operation process

Develop and maintain the Fabrication Department Best Practices/Trouble Shooting Guides

Resource for the "When to Call Maintenance/Engineers" process

Work with all Department Coordinators and Engineers to develop standard operating procedures or guidelines, best practices, trouble shooting guides, etc. for the department

Responsible for the “I got an idea” stamp in Logbook for respective shift

Updating department on current Technical Advisor’s activities

First level assessment of opportunity tracking system ideas from shift personnel

Assist Produce Product Leadership Teams/Operators in troubleshooting with yield, mechanical reliability, and equipment safety issues

Provide good documentation and communication of troubleshooting efforts and work completed to resolve issues

Provide leadership and reinforcement of troubleshooting documentation work practices for operations, maintenance, and engineering

Address yield issues/firefight

Provide technical and mechanical assistance to Produce Product Leadership Teams

Able to analyze Site Yield Tool and analyze/generate yield and production reports

Change owner for Management of change

Level 1 Management of change reviewer for Operations/Operability reviews

Initiates updates to procedures when discrepancies/improvements are discovered

Conducts Gemba and Standard work audits. Supports Lean process in Aqua 40.

Initiates and leads mini-Kaizen events to correct issues

Assist in coordinating resources for Start Up / Shutdown plan development

Write work permits as needed (i.e. Safe Work, Hot Work, Line Opening, Confined Space)

Serve as back-up Produce Product Leadership Team on shift as needed and serve as Produce Product Leadership Team

Operate production equipment when needed and available
