As Corporate Communications Manager (dnata and Group Services), you will manage, plan and support both dnata & Emirates Group Services to meet its business objectives and goals. You will be responsible for the delivery of innovative, creative and cost effective integrated communications strategies and solutions that are aligned to regional business and customer needs.
dnata is currently in 38 countries and this will continue to grow along with the company's over 24,000 employees' aspirations. While the core business of dnata is ground handling, catering, travel and cargo, related industry experience is welcome but not essential.
You are a seasoned marketer having been a leader in either a global organisation or international advertising agency and have worked across geographies and different industries. You are a strategic thinker yet a competent practitioner and like to lead your team by example. As a team leader you will manage and implement a fully integrated communication plan for a portfolio of dnata and Emirates Group Services, particularly Travel in partnership with the Corporate Communications team of Shared Services, Specialists and external Agencies.
You are somebody who can develop marcomms plans in collaboration with client departments and other key stakeholders in and outside CC (eg, CC Specialists). Account management is a key strength as you will be the single point of contact between the business and the CC team to ensure that all briefs and projects are aligned across the business and across CC disciplines. You have the ability to ensure delivery of assignments within scope, time, quality and cost whilst maintaining your entire CC Project portfolio.
You are financially savvy as to maximise return on all investment, and you will be able to develop a trusted advisor status through excellent customer (internal) relationship management competencies. Commercial complexity doesn’t worry you as you have an astute understanding of the nuts and bolts of how companies are run and you’re more than capable in understanding those challenges.
Strategically you are strong and you’re able to advise the business on short, medium and long term strategies and plans through an understanding of competitive and emerging industry trends. Agencies and colleagues alike would sing your praises regarding your ability to write succinct briefs and to ensure you’re maximising your agency partnerships without compromising quality and standards.
Managing multiple stakeholders is vital and in collaboration with Manager Account - dnata & Group Services and Specialist services agencies you will lead advocacy and education about marcomms best practice among business stakeholders.
Finally, your drive and passion for your role combined with your can do attitude will enable you to contribute successfully to this fast paced team.
