English Language Teacher - ATA-GSS

Job Title: English Language Teacher



Location: Saudi Arabia - Buraydah, Mecca & Medina



Contract: Permanent



Package: £28k-£30k plus accommodation, flights, visa and healthcare



My client is a specialist provider of professional services focused on education and training. In addition to services across the UK, they are also a leading provider of high-quality vocational training in the Gulf.



This role will be joining a new team, supporting a new start-up project to establish vocational training colleges in KSA. These colleges, which will eventually grow to a capacity of 8000 students, will offer training programs to male Saudi students leading to vocational qualifications at a range of levels in a variety of subjects which include IT, construction and engineering. As part of the learning experience, within the first year or training learners will also be taught english, ICT and employability skills.



Key Responsibilities:

Delivering a English Language Courses to learners aged 16-20 enrolled onto vocational training courses

Identifying, extending and disseminating good professional practice in content, selection and presentation and in teaching, planning and delivery.

Developing course materials, schemes of work, lesson plans etc. and make these available through the colleges shared information system.

Improving the effectiveness of curriculum delivery and the learning experience for class groups and individual students

Agreeing assessment plans with learners and putting in place individual learning plans



Candidates will be fluent English speakers who hold a Bachelor degree. Non native english speakers will need to hold a degree in English Language. A minimum of 5 years practical teaching of English as a foreign language experience is required as well as a relevant qualification - ESOL or CELTA.



Candidates must be eligible to live and work in Saudi Arabia (visa restrictions may apply). Candidates must be flexible regarding which location you will work in.
