JOB PURPOSE:
To carry out all aspects of English Language Training of students for SDT. This includes placement and progress testing, materials selection, preparation and development, syllabus development, implementation of courses, record keeping.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
To help design and administer appropriate placement and progress tests for students.
To select and develop appropriate placement course material to match students abilities and requirements.
To independently carry out training courses and associated administration.
To provide continuous assessment of students learning progress.
To document work as necessary - attendance / progress reports / lesson plans / schemes of work / assessment plans.
To prepare student for appropriate external English qualifications.
To counsel students with regard to their progress in order to maintain motivation.
To develop self/access independent learning materials and strategies.
