Graphic Designer - Qatar National Convention Centre

DESCRIPTION OF ROLE :

• Responsible for the conceptualization of ideas, creation of designs/layouts and preparation of detailed graphics/visuals and ready artworks in order to deliver projects and tasks as per the PR and Marketing activities. This role is also required to produce and deliver the overall company’s graphic designing requirements. The artworks produced can be used in both digital and print media.

• Creates digital files by combining text and graphic elements for use in printed publications and web applications.

• Leads and coordinates graphic artwork preparation with external printers/third party suppliers to ensure proper technical job quality processes and delivery within the deadlines.

• Understands and executes tasks within the Corporate Branding Guidelines.

• Ensures that all graphics, imagery and branding materials around QNCC are on-brand or as per the Corporate Branding Guidelines.

• Compiles and archives digital files, including image files and page layout files for both print and web applications.

• Consults with external printers or suppliers regarding technical quality requirements and printing deadlines to ensure that artwork is produced correctly and on time.

• Designs, standardizes, monitors and executes logos/graphics for company stationeries including letterheads, business cards, templates and forms used by various departments.

• Designs, lays out and produces various artworks such as print advertisements, publications, Power Point presentations, newsletters, flyers, brochures, maps, posters, billboards, logos, exhibits/displays and illustrations.

• Designs and assembles exhibits and displays such as information signage, directional signage, photo displays, banners, backdrops, roll-ups around QNCC.

• Creates animated web banners (i.e. gif files) and electronic newsletters for advertising and marketing purposes.
