Head of Mechanical

The incumbent will primarily be responsible for monitoring and controlling the mechanical maintenance activities for ensuring availability and reliability of equipment’s and machinery with the available resources and also to ensure maximum uptime of equipment’s and machines.



- Develop and implement short term and long term maintenance plan

- Monitor maintenance activities to prevent breakdown of machines

- Monitor Inspection of equipment’s and machinery

- Identify potential problems before they become more costly to address and reduce overhead costs

- Provide resources to conduct maintenance activities during planned downtime



Established hands on experience of Mechanical Maintenance of Furnaces, Power plant, Melt shop, Shredders etc. Should also have sound techno-commercial skills and be able to manage & effectively run a team.
