Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of enterprise performance management and management reporting capabilities in order to support embedding of a performance-based culture and develop it into a structured, systematic, results-driven organization.
Enterprise Performance Management & Managment Reporting:
• Develop and implement frameworks, processes, mechanisms and/or tools, etc., as appropriate, to effectively monitor, measure, report, and control progress toward its near and long-term business objectives
• Develop controlled documents that set out and institutionalize an effective, uniform approach to performance measurement, including development of effective KPIs, target setting, documentation of KPI definitions and calculation methods, and measures to ensure data integrity in reporting
• Analyse business performance and develop proposals for initiatives to drive performance improvement. Collaborate with the Process Improvement section to systematically identify areas of the organization with performance gaps to be targeted for Process Improvement initiatives
• Lead formal periodic reviews of business performance and lead or track (as appropriate) implementation of indicated actions arising therefrom
• Lead initiatives to streamline, facilitate, and/or automate management and reporting of business performance data, including potential business intelligence solutions
• Develop, implement and manage the Monthly Reporting process in order to provide timely, accurate, and actionable data on progress and performance against the business plan to senior management and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with Human Resources and/or other relevant stakeholders to ensure that enterprise performance management cascades and interfaces seamlessly with individual employee performance management
• Other Performance Management-related activities as may be required from time to time
People Management:
• Adequately staff the Corporate Development organization with sufficient suitably qualified and experienced resources to deliver Corporate Development's plan of work
• Effectively manage direct reports to optimize department performance in support of corporate objectives by setting individual targets, developing and motivating staff, coaching and mentoring, and providing formal and informal feedback and appraisal
• Develop capabilities of UAE National direct reports in support of Emiratization strategy and other corporate objectives
Corporate Development is a major cross-functional "node" in the organization requiring extensive communication, coordination and other interface with stakeholders. Strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as customer service mentality are a must.
